Save The Huts: "Once lost, they are gone forever."

The List of the Great and the Good who publicly support the project include HRH The Princess Royal; Sir David Attenborough; Sir Neil Cossons; Sir Simon Jenkins; The World Monuments Fund; The governments of the UK, New Zealand and Norway; the Getty Trust; the Garfield Weston Trust. etc.  Unfortunately, it makes no difference how many 'supporters' are listed as backing the project when the project can clearly be shown to be irrational, on the Trust's own premises. Such assertions of popularity are a classic form of Argumentum ad Populum and Argumentum ad Verecundiam and do nothing to make the case for the coherence of the current conservation plans.
